For my character design course, I had to design character and a new property. I worked based on the concept of a kind of science fantasy, about a massive spaceship hosting a plethora of alien species, and a group on the ship dedicated to protecting it from monster with advanced/magical weaponry. Not too different from a kind of dnd-esq fanatsy, but in space. I wanted to draw on those familiar archetypes while maintaining a unique identity.
